Planetary Defense Grid

 

Project Synopsis:

 

Defense Platforms, unmanned and automated for defense of planets and airways. In theory, the natural defenses of a planet are sometimes lacking based on different planetary systems, types and even spatial environments. These defense plateforms, can project over a small portion of the planet, while singular they can provide over cover for small areas, however grouped they can provide greater and denser support.

 

Threats Potential: Meteor's (Extinction Grade), Alien Species (Aggressive and Waring), Interior threats from leaving. Cosmic beings (provide a barrier for defense or buying time).

 

Unit: Each Unit is roughly the size of a Mini.

 

Weapons: Spatial Turpedos

                  Projection Shields

                  Proton Pulse Arrays

 

Offensive Capabilities: Deep Space Sensors

                                        Artificial Intelligence Operating System

                                        Advanced Sensor Array

Operations: Until a threat is defined and accessed through the scanners, they remain inactive. Once a threat approaches near enough after initial scans, the defense net is activated or weapons platforms are initialized. Once the threat is enganged, numerous units in quadrant activate, eradicating any threat.

 

If damaged their self repair protocols kick in. Repairs take place and while unit is off line the other units take up the slack and activate.
